Maroubra to Bondi with the boys

My last week in Sydney for the year and Rich has arrived! woohoo! Rich, Jezza and I went for a long early winter walk from Maroubra Beach to Bondi the other afternoon. It was perfect weather, well, cool, but just right for a long walk by the sea... mmm and fush and chups for lunch, and coffee, and another coffee and so on and so forth, haha.

Maroubra Beach, south side of Sydney, which was much more rural feeling that I expected. They were filming something just to the left there... lots of fit types running into the waves... very homo and away I thought.

One of the many sea pools along the coast. I like them but get to thinking some shark out there might get bored of treading water waiting for dinner and just jump over and have a good feed... ooo blimey!

Bondi sea pool, the classic, I think!

The boys between Tamarama and Bondi.. we saw some Penguins just below there splashing about in the waves, ah :)

Beach Barnacles Búsqueda up at Eastery Raglan

I fancied sequential rather than left right centre blah blah blah...

Just some nice views from a gorgeous afternoon's walk along Raglan beach with Jacks.

Such a beautiful place, I bored her ridged with me constant exclamations of how lovely it was, I think I over use that word as it is...

This guy had some self-powered torpedo thingy called a Kontiki which periodically shoots out from the shore, draggin a long line of hooks, and look what he caught! Had a box full of lovely Snapper (which we also had for fish and chups later..).

Any suggestions to add some variety to me vocab??

I don't normally like competitive things but it was really quite good fun and a bea-oooo-tiful day...

went to the beach in the arvo, which was peaceful and gorgeous.. then climbed up the hill and read a while... I love Welly :)

Tarawera steamy sundays

We got up early, well, 9ish, early for a sunday.. what am I talkin about, I'm always up by then... mmm anyway. Off we went, Jacks, Michael, Andrew, Trey and I, off to the south side of Rotorua to Lake Tarawera and what a gorgeous day we had :)

I didn't think about it beforehand, but its known for the hot springs around the lake, obvious really, for the region, and it was lovely... nearly burnt me bum! Oww!

And we even got a ski, and Trey a boogie boardin, in between picnic and boilin the barnacles.. haha

Naps with The Doctor

We met, I fell in love, I don't think he gives a damn but he's sweet and knows how to play me, what can I do, I'm a sucker for enthusiastic bouncin' sweet boys who want my attention, and I can give it so easily its just a pleasure and all worries disappear. Eddie is my only love, for the moment.

Eddie and Me, he has me in the palm (?) of his paw, ah :)

Oh look, the same top, the same shorts.. how odd.. but at least a new and gorgeous backdrop. We took our burgers, running up that hill, above Hastings one evening; absolutely beautiful. I need some more adjectives, I'm getting a bit too predictable with them, aye??

Just back, well, the other week, from a fun filled five freewheelin days over in Napier & Hastings (and Havelock) with Justin, and Jacks came for a few days too :)
We also started a sailing course which was so much fun I was grinning like the Underland Cat...

Eh, he looks all dark and moody aye, but don't be worryin, he's really quite cheery and blond, but don't tell him, he likes to think he's a smart cookie but I sure did catch him out on antibiotic usage and the like, oh yes, just don't tell him, he's very sensitive, not like me, no no, I'm never offended, no, how very dare...
and on and on, but its quite amusing, to me... I try. Ooo Antony and the Johnsons have just come on, Kiss My Name, he's got the most gorgeous unusual wonderful voice, wish he would record more...

Chile wit Willy

Ole.. actually a few weeks ago, but I've been slack. No comments, thank you!

These guys were doing a fantastic road side show by the cafe we were at... very atheletic oh yes.. that's all I'm saying.

Had some great days with Willy around Santiago, I stopped there twice, a few days before and after Easter Island, which was amazing, I am SO going back sometime.

Willy and my other pal Roberto are fine after the earthquake, very good news to hear :)

had a lovely afternoon with willy's sister and family :)

Un dia andando a caballo

Ole! Pasemos un día espectacular de solcito y andando a caballos por las colinas alrededor de Bariloche, Russell y yo

We made a few photo op stops of course and for the geegees to fart and pee, which they were very keen on.

Una tropilla de caballos salvajes vimos en el bosque, que por desgracia no se ve muy bien aquí, pero había un joven también; fue la parte mas hermosa del día :)

Russell couldn't keep his hands of the pussies, which was quite unexpected, hahaha.

Terminemos almorzando de una parrillas con los otros del group, una familia brasilera de dentistas, médicos y veterinarios, talk about keepin it in the family what oh!

Dirk's Letter

Started Ever Dirk (The Letters) the other day, and today read this piece which really felt like me, maybe I'm just a little in love with him coz the way he writes in his personal world seem so familiar, but I feel like I'm in the same feeling about life as he was then, in 1971.

"...must have been a night of toil and tribulation... I have been there myself in the past. It is an anguishing decision to take... the only thing is, and this is terrible important, is to really know, I mean REALLY know what one wants and... most importantly WHO one is. Personal life has always seemed to me to be the most important thing ever. Over career, personal success, fame, lolly, achievement... the only achievement I truthfully believe in is Personal Achievement... life and the way that one is able to live... I have never sacrificed anything to that. Really and truely. And if all in the world of the theatre or cinema fails me now, as indeed it could, I would have no sense of failure at all... because my life has been the career I wanted and planned and worked to have. And, as far as I am concerned, that has been pretty bloody good... but, if on the other hand, one wants more of the sucessful theatre life, the fame and the fortune the heights and the lows which go with it... the lonliness... the worry... the terrors of a failure, of growing too old, of loosing to a younger man, of chucking up a solid background of untold happiness... then if one wants all this I suppose a trip to America and all the filth that that entails... is what one should do... and certainly it should be when one is twenty... or under... but after? Personal Choice. But I think that life, and with that I also mean Love, comes first... it's the only thing that one has in the final seconds... the knowledge that one has had time, and sense, to live, breath, love and enjoy the time one has been given..."

Typos, spelling and punctuation are his :)

si me queres perfumar
los aromas de mi calle no se van

Cuando llego la feria
todo cambio
los viernes en Turdera
todo es color

un día a la semana
para comprar
ya me invente otra excusa
pa' caminar
