Tarawera steamy sundays

We got up early, well, 9ish, early for a sunday.. what am I talkin about, I'm always up by then... mmm anyway. Off we went, Jacks, Michael, Andrew, Trey and I, off to the south side of Rotorua to Lake Tarawera and what a gorgeous day we had :)

I didn't think about it beforehand, but its known for the hot springs around the lake, obvious really, for the region, and it was lovely... nearly burnt me bum! Oww!

And we even got a ski, and Trey a boogie boardin, in between picnic and boilin the barnacles.. haha

Kings of Queenstown, hahaha

The colours of Arrowtown hills, Mmmm.

Had a fantastic few days in Queenstown with Dr Timberlakes. Here is his Slopes Debut :)

He has assured me today that actually he was going slow only because he thought I was taking a photo, and so the speed was on purpose to give good photo! Oh, right, I should Cocoa!

South Island gettin abart wit Tommity... and some driving

Not now, no not now... but I'll put some photos up soon of me lovely 2 weeks driving and boating all around the South Island with Tommity.

This is a nice starter for now... they're not really going to be in order coz I'm so busy and its hard to order things up you know, heyhoo... I don't know how I manage it all really :)

Me and Tommity at Peregrine's Vineyard, on the road from Alex to Queenstown.

A view over Alexandra from Bern & Marg's area; really really made me wanna move, again :)

A Hooker Sea Lion, or so Tommity says, leaving us it's fancy tractor tracks...

Mmm and the Lakes. This is Tekapo, smaller of the two around there, the other is Lake Pukaki. These big lakes feed many Hydro plants which produce much of New Zealand's electricity.

Tommity and Marg, in her lovely garden. Mmm and Bern's earth warmed pears, mmm.

Fruity, Veggies, and ways to deal with hot days

Last sunday was bloomin' hot, so went for a walk around the lake, here in Cambridge.. lovely it was.

My little back patch... I'm not sure what I'm doing with the netting.. it was to keep cats off but now it's just erect! heyhoo..

I started planting here at last woohoo.. haven't got much space in the new place, but its better than nowt, aye!

Solenum Quitoense (Naranjilla), I love the leaves, can you guess why, huh? huh?

LALA Land

Just a quickie.. coz it's the famous sign in the distance and kinda fits coz although I am enjoying it alot, there are too many dead looking people on the streets for the centre of this rich country.
I saw Tracy Ullman on the freeway in a rather sporty bmw - and I've had me heart broken in 17 places all over the city ever since, Tracy fan's, you know what I mean :)
