Sculpture, labour's humanitarian?

Saw this sculpture down in the cementary, near the botanical gardens in Wellington. A little obvious I suppose, but this is the kind of work I like: nudes, people, something real and beautiful, with a display of passion.
It's a memorial for Harry Holland, a NZ labour party founder from the early 20th century, for his work as 'compassionate champion of the common people.'

Simon Richardson

I like his work, perhaps I'm transparent, but this is the kind of work I like.

A South Island New Zealand Artist, recently in the news due to the subject of this painting below. The controversy being that a Rugby fella shouldn't be posing in the nude. Maybe the comentator hadn't heard of Dieux de Stade as an example, woohoo!
