The Mud Princesses

Had a lovely day down at Mersea Island with my sister and two nieces. Had a picnic, walked out to the sea, the tide just on the turn. Dug for some worms and generally got dirty! yeah!

Also bumped into Sarah with her friend and their kids, which was very nice. Her George ended up lookin' like a mini extra from rambo, head-to-toe mud. I was kinda jealous but I don't think it would have been so cute on a (supposed) adult.

Anyhow, We all got the mud pack treatments! hahaha

We used to spend the summers down here in the caravan, water skiings and generally playing the whole tide in and out of the water - lovely memories - mmm although this is where I had a bike accident which ruptured my appendix and left me with my only scar that I hate.

Funny how you can go somewhere 20 years on and still have that feeling :)

Fantasies from the top deck

One of the reasons I always enjoyed the ride home to battersea or clapham on the 137. Isn't he a beauty?

Sardinian Buggers

Beautiful island, I think the nicest beaches and water I've seen around the Med.. mmm, maybe I need to see more, yes yes, I do. Ok, I will, alright, stop, you've made your point, I will do some more investigation and report back, I thank you.

Can you guess why I liked this one?? huh?? huh??

Open your golden gates baby

Mmm, yes, they were right, I loved San Fran, shame I didn't have more time, I was tootin' me horn and dingin' me bell all day long on the trollies, woohoo! After this pic I got a haircut in the Castro from some lovely mexicans who chat and give you shandy booze and told me about the local goin' ons. Later a clam chowder in a loaf, I don't eat carbs of course so I licked the bowl, no swallowing.

Mmm Dolly

I sure did love Dolly and I sure was surprised how she filled the Stockholm stadium, it was packed with dollettes, yes, that's what we calls them, I was more of a voyeur in that respect.

Moonstone Beach, San Simeon, CA

After an afternoon driving up from LA, and thinking about a beach and some peace, and some pieces of fishy and wine, I decided to stop at my name sake's (almost) seaside town and unexpectedly got just what I wanted - which was nice :)

LALA Land

Just a quickie.. coz it's the famous sign in the distance and kinda fits coz although I am enjoying it alot, there are too many dead looking people on the streets for the centre of this rich country.
I saw Tracy Ullman on the freeway in a rather sporty bmw - and I've had me heart broken in 17 places all over the city ever since, Tracy fan's, you know what I mean :)

Rarotongan arvos

I think I'm goin' throught a minialist phase, so only a few photos here and there. Was lovely, poppin abart on me bike; next time I'm going to check out the cargo boat option - they route round all the islands in a month.. Mmm..
