holiday time starts in Welly

Driving the van the 500km north to Cambridge from Wellington, you pass along the plateau of relatively baron (by NZ standards) ravines of the desert road, with the awesome view of mount Ruapehu and its ski fields, Mmmm.

A walk above the house I'm leaving... 6 months, feels like I've been here for ages. Shame 'coz the plants and veggies I planted are just coming out lovely.. heyhoo..

It's not a goatee...

Here he is, come up and see me? yeh, I noticed that.

The beard has grown in a bit but have to shape back to 70's sailor Mo this week.. it will be M shaped...

Not too late to sponsor me!!

During Movember (the month formerly known as November) I'll be growin a Mo. That's right, I'm bringing the Mo back because I'm passionate about men, their health and the fight against prostate cancer. Why? Every year in New Zealand 2656 men are diagnosed with prostate cancer and about 600 die of the disease, making prostate cancer the second largest cause of male deaths, after lung cancer. To sponsor my Mo please go to Donate enter my registration number which is: 125130 and your credit card details. All donations over $5 are tax deductible. All donations are made directly to the Prostate Cancer Foundation of New Zealand who will use the funds to create awareness, increase support networks for those men who suffer from prostate cancer, fund research and scholarship programs. Thanks for your support, Loving you :)Simon

Atonement

Slow starting, I suppose, but worth it. Definately a movie worth seeing.

Made me feel how lucky we are, people of my generation;

made me want to write a love letter every day that remains.

A Russian agent

Agent of camp more like, my flatmate thinks he's a Russian Agent just coz he lived up Putin's back passage for a year. Sounds cosy huh?
