Chillin' with the New Jersey Hood, or rather sammy pops and her breathren

New Year and 10 lovely days with Sammy in New Jersey, its been too long since the last visit and it won't be long before the next; so beautiful to spend time again, just like we used to looking back in Ongar, haha, ah :)

Had a fabulous day downtown, skating in central park, lunch, coffee, walkin about, the flicks mmmm woohoo, a perfect day.

Came across this bird of prey, ripping away, in the Central Park, don't know what it is, American Eagle?

quite cold though.. but i love the snow...

Moonstone Beach, San Simeon, CA

After an afternoon driving up from LA, and thinking about a beach and some peace, and some pieces of fishy and wine, I decided to stop at my name sake's (almost) seaside town and unexpectedly got just what I wanted - which was nice :)

Cabo del este

There were so many art decos and I didn't take many shots for some reason.

When leaving, I saw the most beautiful building near the port, a Tobacco company, but didn't get a pic, bugger bollocks.
well, I was there.. but I'm not now, they try to confuse you, you know.

Wild black beach, before reaching Napier, sea appears so powerful, quite scary

Looking back to Gisbourne, from the mountains

On a lake, an hour before Napier, I found some very friendly black swans and I think there ducklike pal, but i'm not sure, us not being initmates.

view back to Tauranga, along the coast road from Whakatane, start of the eastern Cape.

Poverty Bay, por la madrugada, beautiful moon.

Te Araroa, the most easterly town of New Zealand, Mmm and lovely fishy and kumara.

All these fotos are in the wrong order, but I can't be bothered to reorder them. Started with lunch with Matty in Tauranga, and got to Napier the following afternoon; back in Cambridge by the evening, if you were wondering, I know I was.

Mount Maunganui, Bay of Plenty

Went for a romp up Mount Maunganui in Tauranga with Matt; spectacular view from the top over town, the islands and towards the eastern cape in the distance, woohoo.

Wairere Falls

Went for a walk up Wairere falls, a 250m drop, I think the largest in the North Island and just 30mins from home, woohoo.

Santiago de chile, La Paz, Lake Titikaka, Puno, Cusco, Lima, Galapagos, Guayaquil y Buenos Aires

Well that's the route so far. I can't download pics till I get back to Spain.. mmm or even New Zealand really. Will fill up with fotos then :)
Having a lovely jubbly time with me pal Jezza. We're in Guayaquil at the moment, the more comercial city of Ecuador. Just back from the local gay bar, very sweet and amusing. The Galapagos were just beautiful, swimming with lots of smelly sealions in the water, 4 days on a boat, lots of curious birds and sealife, dolphins came to play in the boat bow, just amazing.

holiday time starts in Welly

Driving the van the 500km north to Cambridge from Wellington, you pass along the plateau of relatively baron (by NZ standards) ravines of the desert road, with the awesome view of mount Ruapehu and its ski fields, Mmmm.

A walk above the house I'm leaving... 6 months, feels like I've been here for ages. Shame 'coz the plants and veggies I planted are just coming out lovely.. heyhoo..
