No photos as I seem to be leaving my phone at the bach the time, saw this bugger this morning when dipping my feet in the hot thermals on the beach, ugly and beautiful:
Eagle Ray, although I think it was a New Zealand Eagle Ray, which might be a little different :)

there's no such thing as a NZ eagle ray simon - I told you that!! tut tut...
if it is a subspecies it could be the Bat Eagle Ray
hope you sent your sim card for me, it hasn't arrived yet and I'm a bit worried - but then I'm stressing about everything at the moment so I'm sure its on its way!
