Pakiri day out.. un dia precioso.

Another lovely weekend trip out to the Coast, this time up the, eh, north east coast. Why am I so bad with place names? I found out. This place is Pakiri, a beautiful long sandy surfy beach with a wild back drop of grass and those indigenous trees we spoke about before ;)

We saw horsies too. Woohoo. It made me wanna try riding again after the last nightmare in Chile, haha... another little story.

Otro fin de semana fantástico viajando por la costa al norte de Auckland con mi amigo alemán. No se porque pero se me olvidan siempre los nombres de cada sitio, oops. jeje.

Pues, ya me entere, fue Pakiri la playa que fuimos. Espectacular - larga de arena fina, limpia, el pacifico muy picado, el campo salvaje detras lleno de plantas y eso arboles de los cuales hemos hablado antes, haha, y para el ultimo toque, nos estaba acercando una tormenta.

Vimos a gente andando a caballo por la orilla y lo cual me dio ganas de hacerlo tambien, aunque la ultimas vez en chile fue estantoso! haha

En total - Bárbaro!

All in all, a really beautiful day. I want MORE. haha.

I really like the shadows. He was at the side of a stream leading down to a beautiful beach, the other side of Piha on the west coast. In this second photo you can see the iconic tree of New Zealand -Kermadec Pohutukawa-, they are everywhere and beautiful.

It's fookin' hot here, eh but I miss me Spanish 'olidees, I do.

Lo he visto en el blog de un amigo; es divertido.. si no tienes otra cosa hacer :)

dice: Las instrucciones son las que siguen: Coges tu dipositivo o lo que sea que uses para oir musica y lo pones en modo ALEATORIO. Play y.... Vas rellenando los apartados con el título y grupo de cada canción que te salga, sin saltarte ninguna, y en el mismo orden en que suenan en tu reproductor. Cada apartado, con una canción nueva. "No inventarse nada para parecer lo más (se nota, se nota!!)" decia el sitio de donde copie esto y que no recuerdo donde era. Piha beach, amazing... and i was burstin'... its ecological though!

Beautiful day, lots of surf, the waves looked huge, although you can't really appreciate it in the photos. I also found out the other day that this was the beach where The Piano was made, or perhaps just shot those sequences with the Piano, on the beach... :)

The following day I heard that a guy had fallen from the cliff in the middle of the picture, and died. An evening drinking joint they say; must be stunning at night too.
